Online Articles

I am now writing articles for a website (www.welovecostarica.com). You can find the first article published at http://www.welovecostarica.com/members/1895.cfm. You'll have to create an account to view it, but it will be worth it since you'll be seeing many more, keeping you updated on the kinds of adventures my life in Sierpe brings. The first one is titled, Moving to Costa Rica - Say Yes and Figure it out Later. Enjoy!

Santa's Little Helper

It's a Girl!

Yes, Trevor and I now have a family. She is a two or three year old golden mutt who wears a different colored bandanna every day of the week. She first started following us around a few weeks ago, and apparently showed up when Trevor's dad Jim brought her in from the beach. So we're not quite sure of her original home, but it seems that she's been Gringo trained. She sits, lays downs, rolls over and is absolutely adorable. She has a little bed she sleeps in in the corner of Trevor's living room and she stays there all night long. She follows us everywhere we go then sits patiently outside the building were in, sometimes for hours! All the other doggies around town love her! We named her Santa's Little Helper (and we call her Sahn-tah for short) because she came to us much like the dog named Santa's Little Helper in the Simpson's came to that family. In Spanish her name is Ayudante de Santa. She is bilingual and such a wonderful addition to our lives here in Sierpe!
